I see a lot people here, and elsewhere, saying things like “Well I starting read *any Young Adult series* and it I it weird because the writting is juvenile… It is not like Harry Potter that is still exciting for adults’
Or anyone replying to any comment about reading YA books as adults with”It is not like Harry Potter’. Or just the hundreds commenta saying that HP is as targeted to adults as it is for teen…
Look, it was a great book. It marked and era. Is atemporal in the sense that a lot different generations of teens can get it.
But it is not at all a book for adults’. There is nothing wrong in reading a YA book btw, but I think the nostalgia is getting us into believing the book is something it just ain’t.
