Its hard to find good books that actually aligns with your taste. Sure there are great many books but not everything goes with everyone. After being a fan of strange set of collection like the works of Charles Bukowski, Mario Putzo, Daniel Keyes. I had a particular inclination for works that contemplates the sweetness of life and randomness of life or death. Thank you to all the members in the sub who mentioned Lonesome dove time and again that i picked it up and having slept only 3-4 hours per day over two days i finished it in on straight single sitting. The book is a work of an art. I am yet to put into words of what it had taught me about life, but “dern” it did put me under a lot of emotions. I should say the book came to me in a dark time in life and it shows that “its a fine world though rich in hardship sometimes”. Usually when reading a novel a fiction sometimes the mind would drift imagining how it would be to meet them if they were persons (biographies) instead of just fiction. Lonesome dove didn’t let us have that longing in a mature way. The death of Janey was were it was too much to handle for me, just plain randomness of life, where myself i had to face the death of such strangers rather at a such similar situation (not cowboy but as a doctor).
Would be grateful for more such good suggestions.
P.S Thank god for antibiotics
