Hello! I listened to a song today (Before It’s Over, Dogfight the Musical) that expresses that she used to be stuck in a tiny world, and she’s glad she was able to branch out and reach for more.
Well, I’d like a book about the opposite. I want a book, preferably romance or fantasy (or romantasy) that has a theme of living a small life and being extremely satisfied with it, and how this doesn’t mean that they’re closed minded or stuck or stifled, they can just be and be happy and live.
The whole book doesn’t have to be about this, and it doesn’t even have to be the main character, necessarily, as long as it’s a prominent part and the character isn’t treated as being provincial for their desire for peace. It could even be the conclusion after a series of adventure!
