I am so sick of reading romance and the book follows the same damn format where there is some conflict or miscommunication in the third act that leads to a breakup and then forgiveness followed by a rushed ending. I need books that have either slow burn and literally only kiss til the end or idek they can be hooking up the whole book and there is a dramatic confession at the end. I dont really care about the specifics just please no third act break ups. I LOVE romance books but its my biggest pet peeve. I would love even a solid romance subplot in a dystopian or fantasy book too!
