I recently watched the movie Project Hail Mary and listened to the audiobook many months ago. What I enjoy about this book is that it's about how the problem was solved, not that the problem was solved. I like being able to understand and relate to how the characters arrive at conclusions, and the payout when the conclusion is reached is high.
I think Sci-Fi books and more grounded stories lend themselves better to this style of writing, but I am open to suggestions in other genres. I am already familiar with The Martian and Wier's other books.
Bonus points if there is a good audiobook adaptation.
Thanks for your help!
