I am looking for a book that assists with how to talk to strangers (and potentially make friends with) such as people at a bar, store, restaurant, coffee shop, libraries/book stores, etc (or to talk to neighbors) without coming across as completely weird.
I know how to make small talk with people at networking events, parties, and meetups where everyone is meeting with the intention to make friends or network, but I am unsure on how to make small talk with strangers outside of those cases.
I found the book “Platonic: How the Science of Attachment Can Help You Make–and Keep–Friends” helpful for interacting with people at networking events, meetups, etc. due to the amount of scientific studies in there and scenarios, and am hoping for something similar for stranger interactions.
