I need a few new books after a reading pause!

I’m trying to get back into reading after lapsing for the last few months. I’m not huge into classic murder mysteries or ghost stories, but I did really enjoy 90% of The Seven 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle! When I think of my favorite books as an adult, the ones that come to mind first are The Everlasting by Alix E Harrow, Chime by Franny Billingsley, and Song of Achilles. I’d love recommendations from specifically non-white authors and queer authors, though that’s a bonus and not a requirement.
