I just finished the Nagash books and I absolutely loved how the titular character was firing on all eeeeeevil cylinders. Most of the time when there’s a “Bad Guy” MC it’s either
a. he’s Disney bad
or b. he’s Riddick bad, where he’s good by comparison to the people he’s killing.
