Saw the Project Hail Mary movie and it pulled me right back to the book. Fun. Gripping. I couldn't put it down.
The other book hit me that hard(actually harder!): Endurance by Alfred Lansing — Shackleton's expedition. I fist pumped the air while reading it. My heart rate monitor thought I was working out.
Books help me when life gets challenging. These two remind me of something deeply strong about people. What humans are capable of when they have a reason/why and what we're capable of when everything falls apart.
What did it for you? What fun books do you go back to be inspired? I prefer non-fiction because it makes stories even more impressive.
