I’m currently in the mood for a romance novel that isn't your typical "happily ever after" or at least gets there in a way you never saw coming.

I’m looking for stories that play with the genre’s tropes and defy the standard ending. I’m especially interested in books where the conclusion leaves you questioning everything you just read, or where the trajectory of the relationship takes a sharp, unexpected turn.
