I’m halfway through my 104 book reading challenge, but I accidentally emotionally tortured myself throughout the month of April (The Handmaid’s Tale, DCC Book 5 & 6, TJ Klune’s Green Creek series, and The Poison Daughter). I have no tears left to cry and I’m in a slump. I need books that will make me giggle and require less thinking.
Books that I like that have made me feel like this: Escape from Incel Island, Red White & Royal Blue, Killer’s of a Certain Age, Cleat Cute, Legends and Lattes, and Role Model (Rachel Reid, Game Changer Book #5).
I game for most genres, with a preference for queer and/or female characters (bonus if queer and female). Does not have to be romantic. Would prefer it to be less than 400 pages. Main goal is to shed 0 tears but feel like it was worth my time.
