I just read the first two books in the boys of tommen series by Chloe walsh binding 13 and keeping 13.
While i liked the books as i was looking for a good friends group and funny story, I am reluctant to read the whole series.
From the reviews that i saw, it just gets darker and am do not want to read something heavy as i have personal problems going on that i am trying to distract myself from.
What i liked about the book is that it involves a friend group and is set in a highschool setting and a few scenes are laugh out loud funny. I am looking for suggestions for similar light hearted reads, funny with a group of friends, can have some dark elements and traumas. Liked double POVs as well surprisingly.
What i did not like was including some unnecessary steamy scenes (i don't mind steamy but they felt unnecessary here) and not showing enough group dynamics (freely and hugh were mostly ignored) | understand that she wants to make separate books for them but here they did not feel like involved in anything.
I would appreciate any recommendations or opinions on weather i should continue reading the series.
