Comedy murder mystery?

I've never really read a murder mystery and I'm hoping that there are some that'll fit into what i reckon I'll enjoy. Kinda like that Adam sandler murder mystery movie, when it's comedic, light hearted, and the plot unravels near the end. I'd also prefer that as I read the book I can slowly build the case as to who the killer may be rather than it being like a random character that's only there for the purpose of shock value. If anyone knows a book that fits here please let me know.
