Suggest to me a speculative fiction book where the protagonist doesn’t use force or violence against the antagonist, but tricks them, or outmaneuvers them, or somehow else wins and resolves the situation peacefully. Bonus points if the protag wins over the antagonist in the process. The wittier and more multilayered the answer the better.
