I always loved reading books and diving into good written stories with complex characters.
It has always been a dear hobby of mine but nowadays I struggle to find books that I ACTUALLY like. So I kinda stopped reading…
I know it's normal that you don't like every book you read but every time I see people who read all the time (for example on Social Media), they always seem to find books that they like reading.
Are there some good recommendations websites maybe? Where you can specifically look for certain details in a story so you find the ones that fit your tastes the most? Something like that maybe?
Or do y'all have some strategies on how to find the best ones?
Back then I always just started reading books that sounded interesting and I somehow managed to find good ones all the time. But that doesn't work anymore for some reason… :/
I like a lot of genres – fantasy, sci-fi or a good romance. I really like it, though, when an author isn’t afraid to explore violence and darker themes in a story. It often makes the story more compelling to me and gives it more of an intense feeling.
