I am not looking for anything that teaches how to advertise. Rather, I am looking for a book that explains:
\-the history of advertising and consumerism in general
\-workings of advertising agencies, copywriting, their tactics
\-how companies use the media – radio, TV, internet – or lobby the government to sell products/services
Anyone know some books that touch on these topics?
