The depiction of main male characters by authors who are women is just doing it for most of us women, but there has to be men out there who write just as compelling, charming and emotionnally intelligent men. I just want to branch out and read some of these. Although these kind of stories are mostly written by women, some men must have written interesting and engaging stories about it too and I’m interested in their perspective.
The genre can be anything, but I‘d like it to have a romance subplot that is a significant enough part of the book for me to know how an author who is a man would write a main male interest. Acually, I have a little preference for a fantasy book or dystopian book with some kind of romance subplot, but I’m open to any other suggestions. Thank you!
