Hey guys, i used to love watching horror movies but in recent times it's hard to find good ones. I'm into reading books these days so thought of reading some horror books. But I'm looking for a particular kind of horror, the spooky kind.. with ghosts and a Halloween vibes with a good satisfying story.. like something i used to watch n reading in goosebumps as a teen. So maybe something which is like "goosebumps" or "are you afraid of the dark" but to satisfy an adult. I'm not into body-horror or so called psychological horror.
I tried reading the popular horror novels like "the turn of the key" but couldn't get into it, there were others but, i read a lot of reviews before i start a book and most of them are uninviting. I have read the book "the sundown motel" and i hated it. Would like to go back to goosebumps and are you afraid of the dark but after growing up, they don't work the same. I need something stronger on the same line. If you have any such books in mind that gave you a satisfactory spooky read, do suggest..
