Just joined a big company. Looking for books that help me see through the corporate machine

I'm a Software Engineer and recently joined a big consulting firm.
I'm fascinated but at the same time scared about how this environment is engineered.
The team building, the daily stand-ups, performance metrics, the subtle toxic competition between colleagues, all this stuff just to make you work more and misleading you into thinking that company's success is also your success.
I don't wanna quit, i want the instruments to play this by my rules and having a critical view about it.
Are there any books you would suggest to make understand more about this topic?
