Looking for a lighter book that is of a specific summer place and evokes a nostalgic and precise feeling of summer. For example Sandwich (loved!) or even Ya Ya Sisterhood. A non book example would be the vibe of the movie My Old Ass and the beauty of the Pacific Northwest it shows.
Can be Coming of Age or not… I tend to avoid cliche romance books but open to it if the setting meets the bill here. Have read The Vacationers and Firefly Lane (too sweeping for this pick).
