I am soon to be an aunt to a half Ghanaian boy, I am white. I’d like to educate myself more than just online. If anyone stumbles across this and has any recs, let me know. Any books relating to the black experience in america given that he’ll be a half black child raised in the US. My brother is pretty conservative and his girlfriend was adopted by a white family and also holds conservative values. If anything I would like to become a safe space later on in life if he needs it.
