    I've recently finished Becky Chambers' Wayfarers series and The Undead Fox of Deadwood Forest by Aubrey Hartman, and now find myself wanting something similar. You know, something character-driven, overwhelmingly hopeful and cozy, quirky and funny at times. I also enjoyed that these books aren't overly descriptive or too verbose, as I tend to lose interest really quickly when reading long paragraphs of scenery descriptions filled with metaphors. I'm not necessarily looking for any specific genre, just the same atmosphere and (for lack of a better term) easy to read writing style, and will greatly appreciate any suggestions.
