High Quality Audiobook about China before the 20th Century

I'm from the United States and very much want to learn more about Chinese history, but I don't know where to start. I've had luck finding books and podcasts about China in the 20th Century, so now l'm looking for an entry point into pre-20th Century Chinese history–there is so much; it's a little overwhelming.

I am fine with a more general overview of Chinese history or something focused on a specific period, event, or person.

My main hope is that it's well written and there is a well-made audiobook version so that I'm able to listen on my commute.
