I’m on a religious journey and reading how the prophet Elijah had doubtings of god and his existence was refreshing and made me feel no so guilty. I’m not Christian and don’t mind the book to be of any religion or non religion.
The alchemist I feel is somewhat similar. The man has his doubtings and moral battles within himself.
