Hello everyone! I’m looking for a dystopian novel (would love a series) with the same vibe as Maze Runner, but ideally with older characters.
When I was a teenager, I was an avid reader and I LOVED the popular dystopian trope. I’ve read The Hunger Games, Divergent, Gone, Wool, Enders Game, etc.
Recently, I was rewatching the Maze Runner movies on Netflix.. and I felt a bit sad and nostalgic. I miss when I’d reached for a book instead of my phone. The issue is, I feel like I’ve read most of the “popular” series already and also.. now that I’m older, I don’t enjoy stories where the characters are younger than me. I feel too disconnected from them. It would be really awesome to receive recommendations with characters in their 20s-30s.
Does anyone have any recommendations? Please let me know, and thank you for your consideration 🙂
