Hello everyone, can you please suggest books to help expand my vocabulary? I’m an ESL teacher and recently venturing more on freetalk. Sometimes it’s hard for me to extend the talk and I think it’s because I haven’t read a lot lately. Thank you all in advance!

I would suggest classics by Austen, Dickens, and other English authors from the 18th and 19th centuries. They wrote more formally than most contemporary authors, and you can pick up vocab there.
Just remember to look up how to pronounce any new words you come across, so you don’t sound silly when you test them out later on 🙂
