Growing up, I loved those ‘100 most dangerous natural disaster / places to live / animals’ type of books, and I once read an amazing nonfiction book about life in North Korea.
Somewhere along the way, I forgot that these types of books exist. Please, please recommend me some books that will feed my morbid curiosity, whether about disasters, human nature, survival, murderers, diseases, etc. I love to discover new things and go down rabbit holes.
Happy to read nonfiction and memoirs, and open to fiction too!
Currently on my list:
Touching the Void by Joe Simpson
Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer
