I’m looking for 2 kinds of examples.
Either books focusing on the depth of feeling that comes from a romantic bond between flawed people such as sally rooneys Normal People. With particular focus on books that do not ignore eroticism and sex.
Or books heavily focusing on a platonic bond of particular strength with deep focus on character development. Ive been reading other genres lately but if you watch TV then true detective, Upright (my favorite ever), and maniac are good examples.
