does anyone have suggestions for a book with this sort of plot. “the character that goes back to being as alone and desperate as they were at the beginning at the end of the story”
i’ve read a lot of fanfic with this sort of trope. i’m hoping to find a book/books that are just as gut wrenching, and all consuming.
