it’s not about the number of books that you finish. whether you finished 0 or 1 or 300, as long as you enjoyed yourself, that’s all that matters in the end! reading is not a competition, it’s a fun hobby!

like i said, i mostly read books under 300 pages because i just wasn’t able to handle more than that. i mostly read on my kindle, but i alternated between ebooks, audiobooks, and physical books. as long as the story is good, i really don’t care what the format is. i also am a really fast reader in general—and yes, i was still able to enjoy everything.

i would give my reading year 3.5 ⭐️ i mostly read really good books, but there were definitely a lot that i should have dnfd.

150 might seem excessive, but i’m really proud of myself for exploring different genres and authors!

also, just in case anyone is curious, the worst book that i read this year was “cleopatra and frankenstein.” i despise that so much 😭
