Personally, I do not. I’m a crazy broke college student who doesn’t even own a bookshelf lol
I get all my books from the library but I’m personally on the fence about buying books because one, they are CRAZY expensive. I’m not sure if the price of books have went up since I have been in high school but I feel like the average book price now is about $25-$30 PER book. It feels hard to justify a purchase like that (at least when you’re broke).
Second, I’m not the type to re-read books over and over again. Usually once is enough for me so it would be kind of pointless in my eyes.
Though, I’m ngl having a small in home library DOES sound kind of nice when I imagine my life in the future and I have my own little career and place. If I were to start a little library of my own maybe I would just buy my FAVORITE books/series so then it wouldn’t seem like such a waste.
I’m curious about everyone else’s stance on this. Do you buy books? Go the library? Or maybe you get your reading in some other way. I’d love to hear it!
