I’m reading The Raven Cycle right now. For context, it’s a YA fantasy series about four teenage boys on a quest to find the body of a medieval Welsh king in Virginia of all places, and through magical shenanigans a girl falls in with them, joining them on their search. Gender isn’t a capital-T Theme, but it’s definitely present as an element the characters are aware of.
I’m interested in this dynamic but the other way around. Any books where one guy befriends a group of girls or women? Can be any genre or age group, I’m not picky here.
