My thoughts on the book are below. Let me know if you agree or disagree, or if I’m missing something:

    **Pros:**

\- I liked it how his team stuck to the science. With so many different opinions floating around about what’s best to eat and do for longevity, it’s nice to have a group that reviews the preponderance of evidence before making recommendations.

\- Some of his stories, like the one at the beginning of the lung cancer chapter, hit like a truck. It’s great he has experience to marry with the science.

\- I like the Daily Dozen takeaway. Even if someone didn’t want to read or have time for the book, this was a digestible and manageable takeaway that many similar books lack.

    **Cons:**

\- It was long. I feel like if they reduced the book by 25% it would pack a more consistent punch.

\- A few of the suggestions seem to be based off of limited evidence. I usually wait until there’s a lot of data behind something before making life changes.

\- His recommendation seemed to be the same for most issues. Sure, it might be the case, but as a reader it was kind of repetitive to hear the same recommendation multiple times. Perhaps he could have summarized the recommendations at the end of the chapter to avoid repetitiveness, or maybe reducing the book by 25% would fix this issue by default.
