In my last post, I asked the favorite genres of you all internet strangers, but in this post I would like to ask a further question. In your favorite genre, what are some tropes that are your guilty pleasures, that when you find in books make you read them even more? Why do you like them?
For me, the genre is horror but my favorite trope in it is when something innocent is found out to be a source of horror. It just makes me sooo thrilled and enhances the plot. What about you? What do you like?
