Hi, I’m looking to get back into reading and I was wondering if any of you had recommendations for a specific trip or something similar to it, like when a character goes against their own morals or becomes what they hate the most, in order to protect those they love but in the end it amounts to nothing. I need something that’s gonna pull at all my emotions, any genre is fine I just need that gut wrenching feeling.
