Spinning Silver was the last book I read in 2023 and quite possibly the best. I loved the characters, the atmosphere, and the fairy tale aspects. I enjoyed Uprooted too (though not as much), especially for the concept of the Wood as an impossible antagonist to face.
I really want something with a similar fairy tale feel as these, and beautifully written. It would be nice to find more standalone novels, but I won’t say no to a series, and an enemies to lovers arc would be a bonus! I’m currently working my way through The Winternight trilogy to give a further idea of what I’ve enjoyed.
