*I am calling out to fellow Bronte Fans!!*
I have so far read Wuthering Heights, Villet, and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall. I am thoroughly intrigued by how these sisters address cycles of abuse, depression, and prejudice in their society. I *do not* consider their work romance novels. For those who agree with me, how do you read Jane Eyre? I’m almost 200 pages in, and, while I do like the titular character overall, I’m a bit conflicted on the story overall (which I’m almost certain is intentional). Any thoughts?
