1) Enid Blyton’s Secret Seven
2) Famous Five
3) Hardy Boys
I remember how excited I used to get reading these books. I remember the small room that I had which if you would open just a little bit would let just enough light to pass so that I could read the book. I remember the English being easy enough to be able to read and enjoy.
4) Peter and Jane: I don’t know why but ny parents had surrounded me with these beginner books. I fell in love with books probably because of these. I would read tons and tons of these and many multiple times. I remember asking my parents what “sweets” meant.
5) Robin Cook: such hard medical terms vut the thrilll
6) Goosebumps: aah yes spooky!
7) Twilight Series: First time reading book of such length I fell so hard for how much character detail was in it and that I was able to read it without “hard words” being a hurdle! Didn’t even have the concept of genres back then!
8) Sweetvalley Twins: aah hahaha I used to get sooo shy whenever I would go with my dad to OlD Book Shops to buy these things. My first mini-crushes would be the twins! Oh how much I would love to have been in a relationship with them! Hahaha
Man. Time really flies!
