For me it was the Lord of the Rings. After finishing it I couldn’t find a fantasy book that I realy liked because I kept confronting the other books with Lord of the Rings. And to this day I struggle to find an interesting fantasy book because of the Lord of the rings although I’m getting better at lowering my expectation.
