I didn’t think I’d be that into this book. I didn’t want to linger on all of the gory details of Weinstein’s abuses at the moment. But it’s both a story about the investigation of the case and a call-out of all the silencing tactics used on Farrow. I’m a person who enjoys spy stories and is impressed by journalists covering Pegasus and other surveillance campaigns, or going against corporations. The narrative voice was also so enjoyable for its shadiness. You can tell immediately what entities and people Farrow likes vs. doesn’t.
Are there any other books like this? Especially when dealing with the political and social issues of the last ten years. I was impressed by the solving of the mystery and story of how a journalist gets things done.
