So I’m a VERY picky reader ya’ll. I go to the library and check out about 10 what seem like interesting books at a time, only to find only one or usually no good ones. I’ve started reading Behind Closed Doors and it just basically seems like the author is just stating events as they happen. That’s it. I just got done reading How to Sell a Haunted House and before that I read Hex, which was possibly my favorite book of all time. If not Hex then The Hollow Places and The Twisted Ones by T. Kingfisher. I’ve tried other books by her, specifically What Moves the Dead, but I couldn’t get into it. Should I keep reading? Horrorstor wasn’t great, but I loved Renegades by Melissa Meyer and The Chemist by Stephanie Meyer. I have books that I really want to read but I have a library budget. Can anyone help?
