Suggest my first romance book

I typically read sci fi and fantasy. My favorite series include Hyperion, the expanse and night angel trilogy. Looking for any good first romance book as a way to branch out. Main character gender does not matter to me but I’m male if you think it matters. Open to anything from the tame to the smutty. Thanks!
