So I have been reading Henry Gilbert’s version of King Arthur, and I’ve realized that this version cuts out a lot from the stories and is quite watered down. I am aware that Henry Gilbert’s version was made for kids and so skips over some of the things that may be inappropriate. But I am reading his version as I’ve heard the writing is a bit difficult to understand in some of the other versions. So which version would you say I should read to best experience this book. And would it be worth reading the stories I’ve already read in Henry Gilbert’s version.

My favourite version of King Arthur is T. H. White’s **The Once And Future King.** It’s been my favourite book for twenty-something years
