I just finished Chain Gang All Stars and as this post title’s suggest, I found it to be an incredible experience. The pacing was phenomenal, the ending satisfactory, the characters memorable and the prose was just brimming with style and substance. I know I’m using a lot of hyperbole but It’s the best way I can express how Impressed I am by this book.
I found it to be not only deeply entertaining but also incredibly potent in highlighting the roten nature of the USs prison son industry.

I liked it.
If you haven’t read the author’s previous book, give it a shot. It’s called Friday Black and it’s a short story anthology.
