I’m looking for book ideas to give as a gift. He likes non-fiction books, has expressed interest in spiritual ideas and has a book about Buddhism he hasn’t opened up yet. Other major things in his daily life are muscle cars and auto-restoration (built his prized Challenger and is starting his own business), guitar (plays daily), and motorcycle/track riding (enjoys motoGP, has historically raced cars also). He currently is reading or has recently read these books:
– “America: the Farewell Tour”, and “War” by Chris Hedges
– “City Primeval: High Noon in Detroit” by Elmore Leonard
– “The Creative Act: A Way of Being” by Rick Rubin
– “Small is Beautiful: Economics as if People Mattered” by E. F. Schumacher
