Can’t read plays to save my life. Please recommend me novels that are adaptions or retellings of Shakespeare.

So, I heard Sons of Anarchy my favourite show of all time was based off Hamlet. Decided to read Hamlet I couldn’t keep up or understand a single thing that happened. Could anyone recommend me retellings or adaptions of Shakespeare into a more typical novel. Thanks for the help fellow readers
