Hey!
I think generally I get caught up in ‘the rat race’, I’m always rushing, stressed, just looking to get this one thing done, in order to start the next!
Looking for a book to help me appreciate smaller things in life. To appreciate just being alive with the things I have.
I’ve read a lot of Herman Hesse, his writing speaks to this to a degree, so maybe similar books?
I also refer to Meditations by Marcus Aurelius and On The Shortness of Life by Seneca, so maybe other things in this vein.
Thanks for the suggestions

This book explores the themes of gift giving and gratitude throughout. While contrasting it against our current capitalistic, personal property oriented society. It’s a lovely book that will give a different perspective on things.
