When I was around eight, I read a YA fantasy book at my public library. The protagonist was a girl who was special or cursed (I could be completely mistaken) and I forgot everything that happened except there were omens or something and at some point in the book there is an augury that is somewhat important. Maybe there were ravens or maybe I’m imagining that. I think there was a male love interest and I remember the cover being fairly pale toned or a grayish white with an interesting photograph of a girl’s half-face or profile with some wings or birds or butterflies or something like that around it? I have no idea but I’ve been yearning to find out the name of this book for years so if anyone has any idea…!
