Preferably contemporary though I guess with the setting in nature it really does not matter that much.
I am looking for books with beautiful descriptions of nature and experiences in nature, perhaps also survival stories or tales of personal transformation while in nature.
Mainly fiction please, but NF is also OK if narrative enough.
