Currently reading Blonde right now and through out the whole book, Oates used “and” but in the last section, she starts using & instead of “and”.
I have my thoughts, and maybe I’ll solidify my thoughts in the last 100 pages I’ve got but was curious if people have their own thoughts on what the change symbolizes
